POSITION STATUS: Summer Contract

 

TERMS: Full-time & Casual

 

SHIFT: Monday to Friday, with varying shifts and occasionally on weekends. 

 

NATURE & SCOPE: If you want to work with kids we are looking for you! DYT Inclusion Support Workers enjoy facilitating activities and games for children ages 5 to 12 in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate opportunities for campers with additional needs to develop peer friendships and staff engagement. 

• Engage and build relationships with campers

• Ensure all campers are safe and supervised

• Follow all DYT policies and procedures
   

Qualifications ​

• Must be fluent in ASL

• Specialized skills in

  • G-tube care and feeding​

  • Personal care and toileting

  • Positive Behavior Support 

  • Deafblind Intervenor

  • Medication administration

  • Transferring and assisting children/youth to and from wheelchairs, seats, etc.
