DYT on Hornby Island

Membership

At FNDC, our community is built on connection, support, and shared experiences. We create spaces where deaf and hard of hearing children, their families, and supporters come together to learn, grow, and thrive. Become a society member and help us fulfill our mission today!

Your Membership Supports:

✅ Affordable Deaf Youth Today (DYT) summer programs
✅ ASL immersion—critical for language development
✅ Recreational and leadership programs for DHH youth
✅ Summer employment opportunities for Deaf young adults
✅ Family events & workshops to strengthen connections
✅ Advocacy for access & inclusion in BC

We work hard to keep costs low—our team operates from home offices, and we secure grants to employ Deaf youth and adults as DYT staff. But we can’t do it without you.

Stay Connected & Take Action
FNDC isn’t just an organization—it’s a movement. Your membership helps sustain programs that change lives.

Why Should You Join?
At FNDC, we believe every Deaf child deserves access to language, community, and opportunities. Our Deaf Youth Today (DYT) programs create immersive ASL-rich environments where Deaf children can learn, grow, and connect. Families benefit from workshops, social events, mentorship, and a strong network of support.

Your membership isn’t just a formality—it’s a statement.
By becoming a member, you show that you believe in language access, inclusion, and the power of community. As a non-profit, we rely on memberships to prove that our work matters—to funders, policymakers, and the families we serve. Your $10 helps keep programs running and ensures that Deaf children across BC have spaces to thrive.
